Anti-Cavitation Trim

Flow Control Equipment can provide New and Remanufactured OEM Fisher® Cavitrol® III 1, 2, and 3 Stage Cages and Trim Sets. More importantly, Flow Control has the ability to specially design anti-cavitation cages that are characterized specifically to meet the customer’s requirements.

Anti-Cavitation trims are used for cavitating liquid applications in various globe style valve bodies such as Fisher E-Body and HP control valves. Cavitation is the process of formation and collapse of vapor bubbles in the process liquid due to the liquid vapor pressure being exceeded at the vena contracta creating extensive damage to control valves and process equipment. If the bubbles do not collapse (when the downstream pressure does not recover past the liquid’s vapor pressure), flashing occurs.
